The first house, located on the ground floor, was once my grandfather Toto's stable and shed where he dried tobacco and raised rabbits, goats and sheep, including Rosa, his favourite. Today, this space is a cosy flat consisting of a living room with a sofa bed, a double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom, a small bedroom with a barrel vault and a second bathroom with washing machine. It is a place that preserves the echoes of ancient work and affection, transformed to offer you maximum comfort.

On the ground floor, we find the very ancient home of my great-grandmother Cristina. This welcoming home comprises a large living room with sofa bed, fireplace and hob with dishwasher, a double bedroom with four-poster bed and a large barrel vault, and a small bedroom connected with a star vault. The bathroom is equipped with a washing machine. You will be told the history of this house by an antique commode from the 19th century that belonged to my great-grandmother and a ‘mattrabanca’, the queen of the kitchen, a table used as a worktop where my grandmother kneaded and prepared orecchiette and sagne ‘ncannulate. It is a place that will make you feel history in your hands while you enjoy your holiday in Salento.

On the first floor is the house where my grandmother Carmela lived for most of her life, inextricably linked to my childhood memories. This flat comprises a living room, a bathroom, a bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and a beautiful star vault. From the little balcony overlooking Piazza Sant'Oronzo, my grandmother and Aunt Peppina used to greet the saints in procession on feast days, interrupting for a moment the preparation of the generous lunch for relatives who had come from all over Puglia. Here, every corner tells stories, in a warm and welcoming environment.

The fourth house, located on the first floor, was my grandmother's kitchen, where I spent long summer afternoons as a child. I drank the milk and mint she prepared for me and drew pictures, while the cats rested in the sun on the balcony and she did her chores, stopping only at 7 p.m. to intone the Ave Maria with her soft voice and the background of the bells of the mother church. This flat offers a living room with a sofa bed overlooking the garden, a double bedroom and a bathroom. It is a place that holds the sweetness of those memories, offering a serene and comfortable environment for its guests.
